"What I love about Sabbath? Well, that's easy :) I don't have to work or think about anything work related, or anything that stresses me out for that matter. I can just let all my cares and burdens slip away. It is very refreshing and because it is Sabbath - I don't feel guilty about forgetting all about these things. What I once saw as a command as a kid, I now see as a welcome invitation to come into my Father's rest. Praises to God from whom all blessings flow."

"It was amazing to be in the church I grew up in as a child. My dad was a pastor of this church and it’s still standing today. I look forward to visiting again."

"I love the Sabbath because it actually teaches us the gospel. God gave us the Sabbath as a sign that He is our Creator (Ex 20:8-11), He is our Redeemer (Deut 5: 12-15), He is our Sanctifier (Eze 20:12), He promises us eternal life with Him (Eze 20:20)."

"We started in the book of Hebrews and read chapters 1 and 2. Chapters 1 really sets Jesus up as full 100% divine, just as God. Then chapter 2 brings him close to humanity and lets us know He can relate with us. Unlike the politicians in our country who have no idea what it's like to live paycheck to paycheck. Jesus actually understands the struggles of what it's like to go through humanity and can offer real help in times of need. Tonights study was a great reminder that we have a fully divine, human high priest advocating on my behalf in heaven!"

"Some reasons I love the Sabbath are that it gives me a full day to step away from life’s busyness and focus on worshiping God the Father and His Son. It reminds me that He is my Creator—the One who sanctifies me and provides everything I need, now and for eternity."

"I look forward to the Sabbath every week, it’s my favorite time. A day for rest where all time can be devoted to God and loving Him and appreciating all of His wonderful work and serving Him in every way possible."

"Growing up, the Sabbath used to be a hinderance in my life. I felt like I could not do other activities other kids were able to do. Now that I am an adult, the Sabbath has become my weekly holiday that I get to spend with God. Instead of being a hinderance, the Sabbath protects my time with the most important person in the universe. The Sabbath is my ultimate reminder that I am not in control and that's okay!"

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Sabbath Together

What is Sabbath Together?

Sabbath Together helps Sabbath keepers discover gatherings near them, connect with hosts and guests, and keep community rhythms going — from the Sabbath Map and RSVP tools to optional messaging and journaling.

How do I find gatherings near me?

Browse the Sabbath Map to see published gatherings in your area. You can explore by location, refine what you see, and open any gathering to read details, RSVP, and stay updated.

Who can host a gathering?

Anyone who wants to welcome others can become a host and create a gathering — homes, churches, parks, and community spaces all work. Host onboarding walks you through the basics so your gathering page is clear and inviting.

Is my account and data secure?

We take privacy seriously. Authentication uses industry-standard practices, and you control profile visibility and notification preferences where the product supports them. Host-only and attendee-specific details are shown only when appropriate.

Does Sabbath Together cost anything?

During beta you can use core features without a subscription so we can learn alongside the community. When we approach general availability, we will communicate pricing clearly — nothing sneaky.

Can our church or small group use this?

Yes. Communities use Sabbath Together to coordinate recurring gatherings, invite newcomers, and keep people connected between Sabbaths with gathering channels and optional reminders.

What kind of support do you provide?

You will find in-product flows for hosting and attending, and our changelog highlights what is new or improved. For broader feedback during beta, use the channels linked from the site so we can prioritize what matters.

How do I get started?

Create a free account, set your profile and preferences, then explore the map or list gatherings to RSVP — or start hosting from the host flow when you are ready to invite others.
